Aura C receives the Auracast broadcast. Your compatible iPhone or Android phone then plays it through your connected Bluetooth listening device.
Your headphones or hearing aids must already stream audio from your specific phone. Your phone and listening device can work without built-in Auracast.

Yes, if they already support audio streaming from your specific phone. Pair them with your phone first; Aura C connects to the phone, not directly to your headphones or hearing aids. Bluetooth app controls alone do not confirm audio-streaming compatibility. Your listening device does not need built-in Auracast.
Approximately 80 ms from transmitter audio input to phone playback in our tests with selected iPhone, Samsung and Pixel models using the low-latency AirCast transmitter. Bluetooth headphones or hearing aids add further delay. Actual latency varies by setup; lip-sync is not guaranteed. Not recommended for theaters, live music or listening alongside the same live sound where delay or echo would be distracting.
Venucast Connect is required to find and join compatible Auracast broadcasts. Minimum phone OS: iOS 15 or Android 10. USB-C phones must support USB audio. Meeting the OS requirement alone does not guarantee compatibility; check your phone and listening device before buying. Your phone does not need built-in Auracast.
Yes, with a compatible Lightning-to-USB-C audio adapter (not included). View a tested example. Data support alone does not guarantee compatibility.
Only if a compatible Auracast broadcast is not already available. At a venue with a compatible broadcast, use Aura C and Venucast Connect to join it; protected broadcasts require the password. For your own audio source, you need a separate compatible Auracast transmitter. Aura C receives broadcasts; it does not create them.
One Aura C works with one phone and its selected audio output. For multiple listeners, each person needs their own Aura C and compatible phone, or another compatible Auracast receiver. Multiple receivers can join the same compatible broadcast.
No. Aura C is designed for listening to Auracast broadcasts, not microphone input or two-way voice calls.
